Associate Account Director: International Design and Branding Agency
Location: New York, NY
With 12 offices around the globe and a mastery of building iconic brands through compelling strategy and design across holistic communications channels, our client works on the essence of the brand by activating their expertise in strategy, packaging and activation, corporate and brand identity, new product innovation, trends and benchmarking across food & beverage, technology, cosmetics and private labels.
They currently seek to grow their NYC team of five adding a dynamic, charismatic, and strategic Associate Account Director to join them. The Associate Account Director will bring fresh ideas to the table, drive client relations through effective strategy and creative work, serving as a strategic thought leader and client partner.
Responsibilities:
- Is a driver of the client’s business, reflecting agency values and creative strength
- Develops and implements effective business strategies, both individually and with the management team, targeting both existing and potential clients
- Provides Director level guidance ensuring budget and profitability goals are met
- Ensures quality of creative brief development, proposals, project approach and work plans
- Maintains strategic communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction
- Contributes new business initiatives including identifying new business opportunities with existing clients, helping with new business efforts, and creating appropriate outreach communications alongside the CEO and Managing Partner
- Maintains high performance standards and serves as role model for group members
- Is a driver to establish a desirable work culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-8 years’ work experience in a creative agency environment in an account type role
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and client management skills
- Rigorous, dynamic and lead projects with commitment
- Creative and curious and do not necessarily look for ready-made solutions
- Articulate and persuasive
- Results-oriented, with ability to accomplish project and team goals
- Enjoy working in a team and have good interpersonal skills
