Associate Producer/Producer: Renowned Fashion, Luxury and Lifestyle Agency

Our client is one of New York's renowned fashion, luxury and lifestyle agencies with a rich history, a promising future, and a fun/collaborative/spirited culture.

The agency seeks a dynamic, thoughtful and supportive Associate Producer or Producer to work closely with the Head of Production across their amazing clientele on integrated work -- both print and digital campaigns, branding/identity and video throughout the pre-production, production and post-production process. No two days will look the same, and this candidate should be ready to roll up sleeves and dive in with a positive and entrepreneurial attitude.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the entire brand team during creative development and pre-production to understand the scope of a project, create a schedule, manage the budget and bring in potential creative partners

- Vet and bid outside production companies/directors, illustrators, event planners, photographers, editorial houses, animation/graphics artists, game developers, music companies, recording studios and post-production/finishing facilities (etc) based on who's best suited for the project as well as the scope/timeline/budget of the project

- Develop and nurture relationships with the production community while staying current on inspirational cultural content, historically underrepresented creatives, up-and-coming talent and new potential creative partners

- Partner with Business Affairs as you develop your estimates, creative review and manage budget priorities

- Support BA to identify and manage risk, secure clearance rights, provide clarity around all production estimates, legal guardrails and budgets for client approval and cast/budget for SAG talent both on- and off-camera

- Manage the production budget, schedule and communication with partners throughout the project. This role will work rigorously to solve problems, manage multiple work streams without losing sight of the creative vision or the smallest production details and stay one step ahead by proactively communicating clearly with the Head of Production, internal team and the clients

- Manage post production including edit, VFX, music negotiations, retouching through finishing and trafficking to media

- Provide coverage for the Head of Production while they are out of the office, on set, and/or on leave

- Communicate status and next steps clearly to the production team, creative team, and clients

- Offer solutions to challenges that arise during pre-production, production, and post production

- Track project budgets and maintain transparency about actuals, create and maintain the schedule and production plan, oversee the bidding and awarding to creative partners, manage the master deliverables and spec list, and ensure the job is wrapped and organized according to agency policies.

- Track production related expenses on the production credit card by liaising with Finance and Operations

- Implement best practices related to production and finance by managing the production server, updating all production documents, and streamlining production processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree

- 3-4 years of experience in advertising at an agency with an emphasis on campaign work

- Proficient in MS Office, Keynote

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail

- Ability to wear multiple hats, multitasking in high-pressure situations

- Flexible, positive and approachable
