Business Development Representative: Real Estate Technology Company

Our client is an exciting, growing technology company who has created a new SaaS based intercom technology that is MAJORLY disrupting the real estate industry. Their technology is making life safer and more convenient for residents, tenants and property managers.
As they continue to grow, they seek a Business Development Representative to join their team in New York. The BDR will support the sales team in identifying, qualifying and cultivating new sales opportunities. Great communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
-Identify, qualify and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums (email, phone, trade shows, inbound website leads, databases, and more)
-Maintain a high level of attention to detail managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs) within internal CRM tool
-Respond to inquiries via live chat, email, incoming and outbound calls
-Responsible for achieving targets such as number of qualified opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting and sales skills.
-Learn and conduct product demonstrations via GoToMeeting and in-person
Requirements:
-0-2 years of work experience. Business development experience in a sales environment is ideal. Internship experience is fine for recent college graduates.
-Must be comfortable cold-calling

-The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to remain calm under pressure
