Digital Content & Retention Manager: Innovative Fitness/Performance Startup (**Position is Remote**)

Our client is an innovative fitness/performance start-up located in Cincinnati, OH. Founded in 2014, the company has developed a high-performance, clean sports recovery drink with the aim of using electrolytes, natural caffeine, and added oxygen to help aid in the recovery process whether it be your workout, your family, or your job. Born and raised within the walls of CrossFit gyms across America, they have recently expanded into retail. Currently, they are a small team with an incredibly unique and entrepreneurial culture. The team is completely remote, with no physical office. They believe as long as you exhibit the company values, where you do it from doesn’t really matter. They seek a rock-star Digital Content & Retention Manager who is passionate about the health/wellness space. This candidate will drive all the sales after a customer’s first purchase and focus on cultivating a successful relationship with the online community. Your responsibilities include creating a digital content strategy that’s SEO optimized across all digital platforms (email, social etc), increasing frequency of content and email/subscription conversion rates, and reviewing key metrics.

Responsibilities:
-Drive all the sales after a customer’s first purchase. You’ll work closely with the digital growth manager whose focus is driving a customer’s initial purchase. From there, it’s all you -cultivating a relationship with the community that makes them the most trusted resource for recovery!
-You’ll work closely with the Marketing/Sales teams to increase the quality and frequency of content in an effort to raise retention from existing customers.
-You’ll create and execute a digital content strategy that’s SEO optimized and will help inform communications across platforms (email, social, etc.).
-You’ll increase email/subscription conversion rates along with repeat purchase/retention rates through improved email flows, unboxing experiences, and a customer rewards program.
-You’ll review key metrics like avg. purchase frequency, customer lifetime value, etc.
Requirements:
-3-5 years of work experience in a digital marketing position
-Comfort and experience working in a startup environment is preferred
-Comfort and experience working in a remote environment is preferred
-Email marketing prowess is required, experience with Klaviyo is a plus
-Social Media management experience is required
-Experience with analytics/performance measurement across digital channels
-The ability to represent a brand’s voice with confidence, passion and creativity
-Experience with copywriting and/or creative direction is a plus
-Bachelor’s degree preferred.
