Junior Project Manager: Creative Advertising Agency
Location: New York, NY
Our client is a creative, integrated advertising agency with an amazing roster of fashion, beauty, and luxury clients. Their impeccable work is based upon thoughtful strategy, and their departments work together in a very collaborative manner. Their foundation is traditional, but they are becoming increasingly innovative in the digital space. They currently seek a buttoned up, proactive, and extremely detail oriented Junior Project Manager to join their ranks and help manage accounts across fashion, beauty, luxury, and fragrance. Please note this position is not client-facing.
Responsibilities:
-Help manage and oversee the timely flow of multiple projects from inception to completion
-Confer with key team members to develop a project plan, milestones and required tasks for each project
-Help develop & maintain time sensitive, up-to-date project schedules, while working closely with Print Production, Studio, Creative and Account Management
-Prepare daily “to Do Lists” and email to their prospective teams. These should consist of work in progress, upcoming work and anticipated expectations from individual departments throughout the typical workday
-Follow up to ensure project goals are being met and provide direction and insightful solutions to issues when needed
-Obtain necessary approvals from required departments by routing mechanicals for sign-off prior to releasing
-Keep everything up-to-date and maintain consistency within project files/folders
-Monitor departments to ensure efficient time management
Requirements:
-1-2 years of project management experience in an integrated agency environment. Digital experience is a plus
-A smart and motivated individual with excellent organization and communications skills
-An entrepreneurial and fun-loving attitude and the willingness to roll the sleeves up and be very hands on
-An approachable demeanor and tem-oriented mentality
-Experience and an interest in fashion, luxury, and lifestyle is a plus
