Project Manager: Internationally Renowned Branding and Packaging Design Studio

Location: New York, New York

Our client is an internationally renowned branding and packaging design studio with a foundation built on design mastery and a passion for delivering creative solutions with offices across New York City, Singapore, Tokyo and Paris.

They seek a highly-organized Project Manager to support client management and internal creative teams on key agency projects. The Project Manager will establish timelines and resources and track progress, budgets and completion against defined deliverables with a high degree of collaboration and support to both external client contacts, internal creative teams and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and collaborative spirit, have a desire to expand on project management skills and knowledge and be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner. This role is based out of the New York City office.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as day-to-day client contact, promptly responding to all emails so client feels a high level of service

- Ensure that clients feel involved in the creative process, are aware of project status and feel like creative requests will be delivered with excellence

- Lead weekly status calls, using the time not only to review deliverables with client, but to develop a friendly and personable working relationship

- Proactively manage project timeline, anticipate potential issues and help to manage expectations with client

- Work with Office Manager to prepare for in-person meetings

- Take thorough notes during all internal meetings and summarize next steps for CD where necessary

- Manage all budget and billing tasks, including estimate creation, PO tracking, invoicing collaboratively with Finance

- Maintain up-to-date budget status via internal system on weekly basis and provide reports to clients

- Track financial spend/scope of work against scope of estimate - raise red flags where necessary, proactively manage

internal/client expectations

- Collaborate with CD/AD to manage internal resource calendar/board to ensure projects are on track to deliver on time

- Collaborate with CD/AD to create project timeline at beginning of each project

- Track and collect all creative feedback, ensuring CD has full inputs needed to make creative revisions

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience in project management or account management in a creative agency environment

- Knowledge of project management principles and processes a plus

- Create and maintain professional and appropriate style of communication with client, reflective of company values

- Keep reliable office hours (punctual, adequate vacation notice, etc.)

- Proactively completes individual assignments in a timely manner

- Collaboratively sets personal development goals
