Resource Manager: Strategic Global Brand and Design Consultancy

Our client is a renowned global brand consultancy, based in London, New York City and San Francisco. The company’s purpose is to create transformative brands that push what’s possible for people, businesses and the world, exploring new ways of doing things and using creativity to make a difference.
They currently seek a dynamic and go-getting Resource Manager working within their operations team to arrange, manage and assist the Global Resource Director with all program staffing needs in order to deliver quality client work and help keep teams moving forward optimally, on time and on budget.
Responsibilities:
-Lead weekly resource planning meetings
-Support the Global Resource Director in the staffing and resourcing of project teams for all client, new business and internal projects by leading discussions and ensuring all systems and tracking mechanisms are kept up to date
-Create and manage resource plans using existing systems, practices, procedures and platforms and communicate frequently with team members
-Onboard, manage and develop strong relationships with both freelance and employee team members
-Actively prospect future freelance and employee talent and, where appropriate, liaise with external partners
-Collaborate with HR and finance to provide metrics, performance and ad-hoc reporting needs
-Foresee impacts to resourcing due to time off or peak holiday times and communicate with teams to prevent bottlenecks during the year
Requirements:
-At least 8 years relevant experience within a creative industry agency operations role (eg. production, studio, project or resource management)
-Strong understanding of operational tasks and roles
-Excellent personal time management and communication skills
-Assertive, meticulous and detail oriented in approach to multiple tasks
-Empathy for all levels of staff and calm in the face of conflict and pressure
-Independent with the ability to make decisions using own initiative
-Team oriented working style considering all viewpoints and needs
-Enjoy asking probing questions in order to seek mutual solutions
-A common sense approach identifying, improving systems and processes
-Seek ways to pre-emptively solve issues and present solutions
