Sales Director: Real Estate Technology Startup

Our client is an exciting, growing technology company with a “startup” culture who has created a new SaaS based intercom technology that is MAJORLY disrupting the real estate industry. Their technology is making life safer and more convenient for residents, tenants and property managers.
As they continue to grow, they seek to add an ambitious and technologically savvy Sales Director to their sales team. The ability to work and think independently is crucial in this position, as well as the ability work in a fast-paced, multi-task driven environment.

The role will also include management responsibilities of more junior sales people.
Responsibilities:
-Identify new revenue opportunities, forecast the territory performance per month against target, cost optimize customers.
- Perform web-based product demonstrations to potential customers
- Work with customers to understand product needs. Provide customers proposals.
- Follow up with customers post-proposal to close deals.
- Demonstrate excellent customer obsession skills through all levels of communication.
- Work independently to cover accounts and drive revenue.
- Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment.
- Develop sales strategies for one or more customers.
-Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to building technology and smart apartment. Understand and identify opportunities for customers
-Participate in account planning and lead follow up.
-Limited travel
Requirements:
-3-6 years experience in technology related sales or business development experience.
- Significant experience working with Salesforce and Hubspot, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree
