Senior Strategist: Global Brand and Design Consultancy
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid in Office / Remote
Our client is brand consultancy, based in London, New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The company’s purpose is to create transformative brands that push what’s possible for people, businesses and the world, exploring new ways of doing things and using creativity to make a difference.
They currently seek a Senior Strategist to join their team as a strategic driver in projects and programs. Working with Strategy Directors on client programs and leading content for smaller workstreams as part of larger programs, the Senior Strategist will be responsible for helping to shape strategic avenues, deliverables and workstreams.
Responsibilities:
- Conceive, plan and manage key dimensions of pillar projects
- Help clients with a very wide range of business, brand and organizational challenges to make the most optimal strategic recommendations — from direction setting, through employee experience, customer experience, learning and innovation
- Work across more than one project – up to three at any one time
- Play an active role on the Strategy team and help continually develop new tools and approaches
- Build on strategy expertise through your work as well as financial management capability to optimize projects and budgets
- Lead aspects of pitches
- Mentor less senior team members, building leadership skills
- Act as an ambassador for the consultancy
- Seek to stay at the forefront of innovative new ideas about business and culture
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in a brand strategy role at an agency or consultancy
- Have built a solid background in strategic insight with experience both independently and working with strategy teams
- Experience working with and managing client situations and helping bring ideas to life in the context of client needs and strategic goals
- Proactive, accountable and responsive, instantly adapting to any situation
- Comfortable and open to embracing feedback and constant changes
- Entrepreneurial spirit or start-up strategic growth experience a plus
