Social Media Marketing & Community Manager: Boutique Digital, Social Experiential Agency
Location: New York, NY or Remote
Our client is a full-service digital-first marketing agency that delivers strategy, creative services, digital media and technology that drives brands forward.
They currently seek an organized, passionate and thoughtful Social Media Marketing & Community Manager to partner across two brands owned by a top beverage parent company and who will be responsible for both day-to-day community management functions and will act as the lead social specialist for the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Able to schedule, publish, edit, share and report on content on all major channels
- Work with clients on strategic objectives and collaborate with creative team to generate concepts and creative that reflect those objectives
- Stay in communication with brand fans across owned channels on a daily basis
- Can create presentations and POVs on social opportunities for clients
- Research potential brand partners
- Focus on new and emerging platforms and functionalities, demonstrating how a client may be able to use them
- Grasp of social analytics and reporting tools, with ability to synthesize findings into insights-driven reports
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in community management in a client-facing role
- Strong cross-platform knowledge and expertise, grasping full functionality of each platform in order to customize content for each unique social channel
- Experience with social media management and social listening tools such as Khoros,
Hootsuite, and Sprout Social
- Experience with Google Analytics, as well as back-end analytics tools of major social channels such as Facebook, IG, Twitter, and TikTok
- Grasp of the influencer marketing space
- Excellent client-communication skills
- Ability to collaborate well with account management and creative teams
- Organized, on task and on deadline
- Baseline understanding of paid social a plus
