Strategic Development Director: Global Design and Branding Consultancy

They currently seek a Strategic Development Director to lead the “strategic development” of new business and growth of existing client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
-Lead the strategic development of new client relationships
-Lead business conversion, building trust and confidence with prospective clients and overseeing all client related pitches and proposals
-Lead the strategic development and growth of existing client relationships, establishing the firm as a trusted and valued strategic design partner with long-term, profitable, growth-orientated clients
-Act as a senior level brand ambassador through building relationships with high level influencers, pro-active industry networking and the creation of new business and partnership opportunities
-Lead, develop and manage the Business Development and Client Management disciplines setting vision and standards, providing direction and guidance for the team, assessing performance and facilitating professional growth and development for all team members
-Plan future talent needs and lead recruitment activities, both short and long-term, to fulfill the need of the business and ensure the highest calibre of talent within the team
Requirements:
-A senior agency executive with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience
-Strong leadership and management abilities
-Proven track record in agency business development
-Experience in branding and design sector
-Genuine passion for design and creativity
-Emotional intelligence and business acumen
-Strategic and entrepreneurial
-Results focused
-Naturally collaborative
-Accomplished communicator
-Experience of and affinity for West Coast business culture
