Tech Recruiter: Exciting DTC Technology Startup
Location: New York, NY or Remote
Our client is a Brooklyn-born direct-to-consumer transportation technology startup looking to help lead cities into a zero-carbon future. They are electrifying cities through charging infrastructure and shared electric vehicle fleets all through a state-of-the-art app. They are in high growth mode, operating in and expanding into multiple cities throughout the US and are committed to a stable model of both full-time and hourly employees on staff instead of relying on the gig economy.
They currently seek a Tech Recruiter to join their People team in order to establish a talent acquisition function at the corporate level and be instrumental in helping to build a diverse, inclusive and stellar team. This is a critical role collaborating across teams to meet growing hiring demands.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a full-cycle recruiting process across the organization
- Source and proactively build candidate pipeline
- Work with Marketing and People team to develop a strong employer brand
- Build rapport with team leads, hiring managers, and candidates
- Understand our technical stack to successfully build product and engineering teams
- Develop a strategy to network and engage with outside organizations, social media, etc. to grow recruitment opportunities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 4+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Stellar communication and relationship management skills
- Self-starter mentality to source and close multiple roles at a time and be the sole driver of the recruitment function
- Passionate about diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives
- Understand technical candidate pool in order to recruit effectively, such as basic programming languages and can speak to all aspects of Product, Engineering, and Data functions
