Client Director: Leading Full-Service Integrated Creative Agency  

Location: New York, NY

Our client is a leading, full-service integrated creative agency. The agency offers a vast range of services including advertising, art direction, graphic and interactive design, e-commerce, mobile, social media, and content/brand strategy. The culture is authentic and collaborative.Their client roster is absolutely amazing, representing some of the most desired and sexiest brands across fashion, luxury, and retail. The agency was historically digitally focused, but they have transitioned into a more integrated offering. They seek a talented, sharp and experienced Client Director. This role is a very critical position at the agency and will encompass account management, business development, mentorship and development of integral strategic solutions. This role will touch all internal departments, be highly involved with senior management, and again ensure that external relationships are upheld and strengthened. This candidate must have a strong background in broadcast and print production.

Responsibilities:

-Be an expert in the clients’ businesses and a strategic partner to them

-Seek opportunities which will help clients to transform their business and gain advantage over their competition

-Identify opportunities to further establish long-term client partnerships with a broader integrated service offering

-Lead strategic and creative development and execution of integrated campaigns

-Ensure quality, timely and profitable delivery of all work for your clients through effective relationships and processes across the business, with other departments and sharing of best practices internally

-Play an active role in driving operational excellence

-Create new business opportunities with existing clients and support agency new business efforts where necessary

-Create strategic account plans which describe their plan for growth

-Mentor and develop team members

-Negotiate and secure the best possible commercial and contractual deals

-Defend the agency’s position in multi-agency environments

-Help the agency to deliver on its creative ambition

Requirements:

-8+ years of account management experience in an agency environment; print and broadcast experience is a must

-Fashion and Luxury experience is much preferred but not mandatory

-Experience leading a dynamic, integrated business

-Ability to quickly become a trusted and respected member of the team

-Savvy in identifying potential challenges for the business and comfort taking the lead in solving them

-Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects across internal teams

-Experience with global markets a plus
